Raymax Applications Pty Ltd: As one of the Defence suppliers on the NSW Department of Industry stand at the Avalon Air Show, Raymax is experiencing tremendous interest in the laser systems we supply to defence and industry manufacturers.

As the distributor of SLM Solutions 3D printing machines for part manufacture and Laserline lasers for repair of critical parts such as being deployed by RUAG in repair of Australian Defence aircraft, demand for solutions to critical needs is evident amongst visitors.

On our stand we have examples of 3D printed parts for aircraft such as the re-designed valve block and the re-designed gooseneck bracket for actuation of slats and flaps. These products provide examples of not just improved design but demonstrate how parts can be produced lighter than their predecessor enabling weight reduced and thereby reduced cost of flying.

Committed to working collaboratively, we are joined by two industry networks, HunterNet and Shoalhaven Defence Industry Group who are also attracting visitors to the NSW Department of Industry stand.

We are in Hall 4 and welcome anyone who is interested in our laser systems, advice and support!
