International Mining & Resources Conference (IMARC) Online
International Mining & Resources Conference (IMARC) Online
23-27 November 2020
In light of recent and evolving global developments with regard to COVID-19 and the continued restrictions and uncertainty around travel and large-scale events, the decision has been made that the International Mining and Resources Conference + EXPO (IMARC) will be postponed to 26-28 October 2021.
IMARC Online, commencing on 24th November 2020 offers a global platform for the resources industry’s leading identities and influencers to come together and address the hot topics and interactions that are – more than ever – relevant to the way we shape the future of an industry that will stand centre-stage reshaping the global economy post COVID.
IMARC Online is uniquely positioned to aid our customers and their businesses in the global economic recovery, by providing an opportunity for the global mining and resources community to interact, network, learn and engage. The interactive program will run over several days and global time zones to allow attendees from all over the world to engage, collaborate, generate business and learn.
IMARC Online’s interactive program includes all the components you have come to expect from IMARC, including workshops, keynote presentations, networking, meetings, and a dynamic virtual EXPO hall; showcasing the latest mining projects, technology and innovations, and international governments displaying the best their region has to offer.
In addition, we welcome a series of co-located events including the popular IMARC METS Arena #LIVE, Mines and Money 5@5, and Mines and Money Online Connect.
Attendees will be able to curate their own personalised program of content, networking and meetings based on interests and with longer opening hours and content ‘On Demand’, they can log in at a time that works for them.
“As geographical boundaries and travel time are no longer constraints for our attendees, we expect that IMARC Online will welcome more international attendees than ever before, making IMARC Online truly international” IMARC’s Managing Director, Anita Richards stated.
Department of Jobs, Precincts and Region’s Head of Resources, John Krabelski said “We’ve all learned new ways to work in 2020, the global resources industry can click and connect for IMARC Online – same networking opportunities, engaging sessions and great content, just via a different portal.”
“As a founding partner, AusIMM is looking forward to keeping our global community of mining connected through IMARC Online. In a time of worldwide uncertainty, it is more important than ever for people working in resources to be able to come together to share their knowledge and expertise” said Stephen Durkin FAusIMM, AusIMM CEO.
In light of recent and evolving global developments with regard to COVID-19 and the continued restrictions and uncertainty around travel and large-scale events, the decision has been made that the International Mining and Resources Conference + EXPO (IMARC) will be postponed to 26-28 October 2021.
We believe this is the responsible action to take in these extraordinary circumstances and our decision comes after much deliberation and consultation with our Founding Partners, the Victorian Government, Austmine, AusIMM and Mines and Money and key industry stakeholders, all of whom have strongly endorsed our decision to ensure the health, safety and collective interests of the attendees that join our event from around the globe.
