Protecting your IP rights and using R&D Tax credits to incentivise your business
Rigby Cooke Lawyers and William Buck invite you to join us for a breakfast discussion on how manufacturers and related businesses can identify and protect their IP rights and utilise research and development tax incentives.
For many manufacturers and distributors, IP is the backbone of their business and they will have valuable assets in their trade marks, patents, copyright or designs (IP) which need to be protected. These IP rights enable manufacturers the opportunity to make a financial return on what they create. Businesses who engage in research and development (R&D) to create IP and new knowledge may also be eligible to claim a tax offset under the R&D tax incentive.
This interactive discussion will look at:
- how manufacturers and other business can identify and protect their IP; and
- an introduction into the R&D Tax Incentive and how companies can use R&D to boost their business.
