Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW2023) is approaching fast! This will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 9-12 May 2023. Organised and run by the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL), AMW2023 will almost fill ‘Jeff’s Shed’, more than 10,770 square metres, with 346 organisations showcasing the latest manufacturing technologies, processes, and support services.

Australian National Fabrication Facility – A resource to aid innovation in manufacturing

The Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) supports innovation across Australia by providing open access to advanced manufacturing facilities at the forefront of technology. ANFF supports the development of new technologies or the next generation of existing products.  It works with companies in all sectors and all stages (start-ups to multinationals).  Each of its eight nodes nationwide offers complementary specialised manufacturing facilities supported by trained staff.

As a not-for-profit, ANFF seeks to lower the barriers to successful innovation by providing a mixture of advanced training, expert assistance, and process development support that isn’t available anywhere else, while continuing to make access to equipment and expertise easy.
