This enquiry came into AMTIL and the client has a valuable classic racing motorcycle which has been converted to bevel driven overhead cam. The bevels are helical 42 and 21 teeth 80mm and 40mm outer diameter. The client has a problem with tooth wear due to the axes of the two shafts being offset by approximately 2mm. We are looking for a company able to cut hypoid bevel gears to overcome the offset?
