Nambucca Valley Council is inviting expressions of interest for 14 serviced industrial lots on the NSW Mid North Coast, offering potential opportunities for manufacturers looking to establish, expand or invest in new facilities.

Australian manufacturing businesses considering their next stage of growth may wish to explore an industrial land opportunity at Valla, in the Nambucca Valley region of New South Wales.

Nambucca Valley Council has released Stage One of the Valla Industrial Estate to the market through an expression of interest (EOI) process, with submissions open until 12 November 2026.

Located between the regional cities of Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie, and approximately halfway between Brisbane and Sydney, the estate forms part of the broader Valla Urban Growth Area. Council says it has worked with the Australian and NSW Governments over several decades to unlock 160 hectares of developable land in the area.

Industrial land with highway access

Stage One comprises 14 industrial lots, ranging in size from 2,591 square metres to 3.582 hectares. The lots are serviced and offer exposure to the Pacific Motorway, with access via the Nambucca Heads interchange within approximately two minutes.

The development may be worth investigating for manufacturers seeking industrial land to support new operations, expand existing capacity or establish a presence in a regional location.

Potential incentives for manufacturing investment

Council has identified advanced manufacturing, manufacturing, transport and logistics, food processing, and circular economy businesses as priority sectors it wants to attract to the Nambucca Valley.

A draft Investment Incentive Scheme is also under consideration. Subject to adoption of the scheme’s guidelines, Council may be able to offer financial and/or non-financial incentives to eligible businesses purchasing land at Valla Industrial Estate.

Businesses should contact Council directly to discuss the draft scheme, eligibility and the potential support available.

Council reports that manufacturing currently contributes $122 million in annual output to the local economy, while 30% of the local workforce is employed in trades. Its Nambucca Valley Investment Prospectus also profiles established advanced manufacturers operating in the region.
