Australia’s economic climate continues to present significant challenges to the Federal Government in designing a Budget which manages short-term issues and longer-term structural needs.

“Given the fiscal tightening that is expected in the Budget, it would be a shame to see any of the promised support for the Manufacturing sector wound back,” Ian Cattanach said. “The sector requires continued and unwavering support in order to strengthen and maintain recent growth – particularly in the face of economic uncertainty and supply chain issues.”
