AMTIL Roundtable Focus Groups – All States

Dear Member,
As a new-comer to AMTIL, I am keen to better understand membership needs and issues of key concern to you. This will be important to form policy positions of impact for manufacturing and related technology uptake, and to determine the programs, value and industry resources that AMTIL will provide in the future.
You (or your delegate) are invited to AMTIL’s policy and member benefits roundtable discussion, that I will host for a discussion with leaders within the membership.
The Roundtables to be held in all states across September and into October will take into account member feedback I have received over recent months, since my appointment, insights gleaned from the AMTIL Board and Team, and through ongoing work with industry.
I am looking to build on the great work of AMTIL of the past 25 years and bring clarity to the challenges and opportunities ahead. I will provide an update to each roundtable about areas and issues that have already been raised such as workforce and skills shortages, climate reporting, robotics and automation, safety and regulatory red tape and excessive taxes.
Each 2.5-hour roundtable will be like a focus group where a briefing is provided over drinks and canapes, followed by an opportunity for each attendee to talk about issues of importance to them.
The information will inform the Board’s development of the refreshed Strategic Plan and AMTIL representation on policy issues with State and Federal governments.
