In 1934, JTE (then known as Jack Thompson Engineering) began at a small site in South Melbourne. Founded by Jack Thompson, he set out to deliver top-quality engineering services across the state. Over the years, JTE was passed down through multiple generations – never losing sight of its rich family roots.

But after a few location changes, new ownership in 2020 and expanded offerings – today we have what’s known as JTE. With a large facility in Hastings, and machine shop in Wodonga North East Victoria, we now provide comprehensive services and solutions to a wide range of industries.

Parken Engineering has also recently joined the JTE Family. After 86 successful years in the industry servicing clients and bringing to market the Parken range of machines Parken Engineering owners Michael and Karl Hausseegger have decided to start their well earned retirement.

The Parken range of machines will continue under the stewardship of the new custodians at JTE from both their Hastings and Wodonga facilities.

Rest assured that the products will continue to be Australian made, owned, operated and have an ongoing local support network.
