JELD-WEN Australia is seeking expressions of interest from toolmakers to design, manufacture and service our range of punches and dies used in the manufacture of aluminium windows and doors. With over 40 manufacturing sites across Australia we currently have approximately 700-800 dies and punch sets in use at any one time.
The successful vendor must be able to work with our R&D team to design and develop cost effective die systems, that are easy to maintain and safe to use. They will need to be able to implement a preventative maintenance system to ensure that all dies are serviced based on individual site usage and maintain a national die register. JELD-WEN is also interested in entering into discussions related to the potential purchase of a toolmaking entity capable of undertaking the above and other services.
