Then Sharon Robertson, CEO, Manufacturing Industry Skills Alliance presents on the changes taking place in manufacturing. With the global and political environment boosting the drive for sovereign capability, Australian manufacturers are experiencing a period of unprecedented change. She says the challenge is to ensure they can access workers with the skills industry needs.

Further into Day Two of AMW2024 there will be presentations about Upskilling in a changing employment landscape, by Cameron Le Maitre from the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations; Sustainability from Simon Lunn at William Buck, Growth and Change by Bruce McLean from Sydney Manufacturing Hub, ‘Making Operational Changes Stick’ by Alfred Ablaza, and Jackie Cooper, Executive Manager of Trade and Working Capital, NAB will speak about managing risks in manufacturing environment using digital finance tools and technology.
