The Australian Foundry Institute is a metal casting industry organisation with representations across the country. Our mission is to support the metal casting industry throughout Australia. As an industry body, we do this providing a forum for exchange of ideas, advancement of technical knowledge, advocating on behalf of our membership, and highlighting the Circular Economy credentials of the industry. We are active in promoting the metal casting industry as a career path of choice. The annual National Conference provides a channel for AFI members to network with our nationwide membership, and to better understand any and all matters that impact the metal casting industry and the interests of our members. The Australian Foundry Institute advocate with State and Federal Government bodies on such matters as energy policy, training and access to skilled personnel. We do this on behalf of the metal casting industry, to support the best interests of our members and the industry as a whole.
