Asiamold Select – Guangzhou returns in February 2025 to connect South China’s mould making industry For nearly two decades, Asiamold Select – Guangzhou has connected manufacturers, specialists, and key industry stakeholders across China’s mould, die and additive manufacturing sectors. In 2025, from 25 – 27 February, the event will return to the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou to provide an end-to-end platform for production and prototyping solutions. AMTIL Roundtable Focus Groups – All States

Dear Member, As a new-comer to AMTIL, I am keen to better understand membership needs and issues of key concern to you. This will be important to form policy positions of impact for manufacturing and related technology uptake, and to determine the programs, value and industry resources that AMTIL will provide in the future. You (or your delegate) are invited to AMTIL's policy and member benefits roundtable discussion, that I will host for a discussion with leaders within the membership. The Roundtables to be held in all states across September and into October will take into account member feedback I have received over recent months, since my appointment, insights gleaned from the AMTIL Board and Team, and through ongoing work with industry. I am looking to build on the great work of AMTIL of the past 25 years and bring clarity to the challenges and opportunities ahead. Weld Australia Q&A Career Path Night – VIC

Join us for a Weld Australia Vic State Committee face-to-face event, welcoming both members and non-members from the welding industry, school leavers and their parents. Apprentices, Tradesman looking for a career change. The purpose of the evening is to encourage young school leavers to take on an apprenticeship and provide some guidance on career paths beyond being a boiler maker. This evening will provide guests with a description of what is involved in becoming a boiler maker/welder and the career path options beyond. It will also provide an insight into the training available and give guests an opportunity to ask questions of people from various job roles.
